John Bishop
Stand-up comedian John Bishop first performed live in 2000 and within a year had made it to the final of the Daily Telegraph's So You Think You're Funny open mic awards. The Liverpool-born comedian has gone on to massive success since, winning numerous 'Best Newcomer' and 'Best Comedian' awards, both in the North West and nationwide. He is a regular on SKY1 panel show, A League of Their Own, and also hosts his own radio show on Radio City, Bishop's Sunday Service. He has appeared on the BBC's Live at the Apollo series and headlines his own shows at venues such as the Philharmonic Hall and Echo Arena in Liverpool. Bishop is famous for his observational comedy style and down-to-earth sense of humour. He has also appeared in the E4 comedy drama, Twins. Bishop was born in 1966 and is married with three sons.
