Roy Hodgson

Roy Hodgson was appointed Liverpool FC Manager on 30th June 2010. A hugely experienced coach, Hodgson has had a distinguished managerial career which has seen him take charge of Halmstad, Malmo FF, Inter Milan, Blackburn, Udinese and more recently, Fulham. Hodgson has also coached the national teams of Switzerland, United Arab Emirates and Finland, spanning a managerial career of over 34 years. Hodgson joined Liverpool on the back of a successful spell with Fulham. After saving The Cottagers from relegation in his first season, Hodgson then went on to guide Fulham to a best ever league position of 7th and qualification for the Europa League. However, the best was yet to come, as Fulham then went on to reach the final of the Europa League, after knocking out some big European names such as Juventus and Wolfsburg, only to be defeated to Atletico Madrid after extra time in the final. Hogdson was given the Anfield job after Rafael Benitez's departure from the club by mutual consent.
