Knowsley binman who swindled £30,000 in benefits caught on camera

A BINMAN who swindled nearly £30,000 in benefits claiming he could barely walk, was caught on camera working for a Merseyside council. David Crellin was jailed for 20 months yesterday. Liverpool Crown Court heard he was working for Knowsley Council, first as a security guard and then on a team removing bulky household waste. The 40-year-old conman was videoed by undercover fraud inspectors shifting heavy loads, lifting fridges, washing machines and beds.
