I ABSOLUTELY love the idea of having a Liverpool Pageant of Power. I am a huge Formula One fan and would love to see the cars whizzing through the streets of our city.
It would definitely bring out the crowds.
I can’t think of a city better than Liverpool for such a showpiece, with the river right there in front of The Strand and all the fabulous architecture.
It really is a magnificent idea. I am surprised no-one has thought of doing this sooner.
I don’t suppose there’s any chance we might get Lewis Hamilton, left, and Jenson Button popping up here, too, is there?
