Liverpool has changed so much
MY WIFE and I travelled to Liverpool at the weekend on a return trip some 15 years after we left the city and retired to Bournemouth.
We were utterly blown away by the changes the place has seen, particularly on the waterfront and the new Liverpool One shopping centre, left. In fact, the city has changed so much that at times we struggled to pick our way around it and actually got a little lost a number of times.
But, when we did, someone was always happy to point us in the right direction. Liverpool may have changed, but Liverpudlians are as friendly as ever.Mr and Mrs S Gallagher, Bournemouth
